KRAKATAU
You've probably heard more about Krakatau than about Ujung Kulon. And perhaps you've had a dream to visit Krakatau ... or not, because you thought why should anyone visit the child of a volcano which is smaller than the original one. There's nothing left. It's just a small tiny volcano or island which is less than 300 meters high and what can you see from that height ? And they say it's expensive to get there. Long tiring journey to get there, it's in the middle of nowhere, have to get there by boat from places which you've never heard before, Carita, Kalianda, where on the map is it ?
You are in the middle of making plans for your vacation with your entire family. To visit a volcano, that far, that expensive ... well maybe you should skip it ... better to see that famous Bromo mountain, everybody in the neighborhood knows and have been there and brought wonderful stories about that scenic mountain.
Hmm, what about Bali, yes, that's a must. Everybody goes there. And Lombok, and Komodo ! Definitely you should skip and forget about Krakatau. Everybody knows about Krakatau or have heard about it but nobody bothered to go there, why should you ?
UJUNG WHAT ?
Who on earth gave such a difficult name to spell for a place. A rhino sanctuary ? But rhinos are only in Africa ! There's no Rhino in Asia ! They must be bluffing to lure tourists to that place. What a cheap scam. Nice try ! And what shall you do once you get there, to Ujung Kulon ? Trekking, into the jungle ? But there are no jungles on Java. You've heard from stories about jungles in Kalimantan, that's for sure, but not on Java.

Ah, here it is, Krakatau ... seems like a lot of scams there. The boat operator, the price, just doesn't sounds right. And they are telling you to combine the tour, go to Krakatau and after that get to Ujung Kulon. Hmm too risky.
